Pushpa 2 worldwide box office collection day 14: Allu Arjun’s blockbuster eyes Rs 1500 crore, is the third-biggest Indian hit of all time

Pushpa 2 Box Office Collection Day 14 India & Worldwide: The blockbuster film Pushpa 2: The Rule has broken almost every record that it could at the box office. It’s now the third-biggest Indian hit of all time globally, behind only Baahubali 2: The Conclusion and Dangal. As it completes two weeks of release, the film is on the verge of passing the Rs 1000 crore nett mark in India, and the Rs 1600 crore mark worldwide.

On day 14, the film made Rs 20 crore across India. This marks the film’s lowest single-day earnings, although it’s high enough to be the opening day collection of most other movies released recently. Of the Rs 20 crore that the film made on Wednesday, the majority, as usual, came from the Hindi-language version. This is unexpected, because Pushpa 2 is mainly a Telugu film, starring Telugu industry stars such as Allu Arjun and Rashmika Mandanna. Even the villain is played by Fahadh Faasil, a Malayalam star. And yet, the film made Rs 16 crore from the Hindi version, and just Rs 3.2 crore from the Telugu version. The remaining sum was accumulated through the Kannada, Malayalam and Tamil versions.

Pushpa 2’s nett domestic collections now stand at Rs 973 crore, which means that it will pass the Rs 1000 crore mark in two days. Of this total, more than Rs 600 crore has come from the Hindi version, making it one of the highest-earning Hindi releases of all time. Pushpa 2 has overtaken the massive hits Pathaan and Jawan at the worldwide box office, but it still trails them domestically. Pushpa 2 has also overtaken SS Rajamouli’s RRR globally, and is now the third-biggest Indian release of all time.

According to Mythri Movie Makers’ last update, which came two days ago, the film had made Rs 1409 crore worldwide. It should have since passed the Rs 1500 crore mark worldwide. Baahubali 2 made around Rs 1700 crore globally in 2017, and Dangal is the only Indian film to have made more than Rs 2000 crore globally, although most of its revenue came from China.
